Shampoo bar: Nettle - Calendula
DESCRIPTION: The nurturing and cleansing Nettle – Calendula shampoo is suited for normal, dry and naturally curly hair.

INSTRUCTIONS: Froth the shampoo bar directly into damp hair. Rinse and froth, if necessary then rinse again. The shampoo bar must dry in between uses. Preserve on a platter meant for soaps so that the water can drain out.

Shampoo: Green Clay - Common Horsetail
DESCRIPTION: The Green Clay – Common Horsetail shampoo is specifically designed for oily and thin hair. Green clay is an efficient cleanser as well as clay and the silicon in common horsetail is said to strengthen the hair. Birch extract is added into the shampoo bar for its cleansing effect.

Starting to wash your hair with a shampoo bar might require a long temper but it will reward its user in the end. At first the hair might feel sticky after the first few washes but depending on the hair quality and the amount of processing the stickiness will dissolve after 1–10 washes, when the hair is cleansed from all chemicals. Processed hair may take longer than unprocessed hair.
If you want you can use a natural conditioner or rinse the hair with apple cider vinegar and water mixture or citric acid and water mixture for the hair follicles to close up. Especially processed hair may require rinsing. Also hard washing water (minerals dissolved from the grown etc.) might cause stickiness and will not disappear over use. You can soften the water by adding soda 1 tablespoon / 5 liters. The Finnish tap water is usually soft and rain as well as lake water is also suited for washing with a shampoo bar.
Instructions for hair rinses:
Apple cider vinegar and water mixture: 5 liters of water and 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (white vinegar is also suitable) is mixed together and the hair rinse is ready.
Citric acid and water mixture: 3 deciliters of water and 1 teaspoon of citric acid is mixed together in a dish and the the hair rinse is ready. If you want you can add 1-2 teaspoons of any floral water (e.g. rose water) into the hair rinse.
